Gone but not forgotten...
Google was my first guinea pig and when he died in late 2009 I was gutted. He was six years old and old age caught up with him. He was a quiet chap but lovely and its thanks to him being so cute at the Derbyshire County Show that I now love guinea pigs so much. An awesome guinea pig, that cost me all of £5 to start the love.
Herbie
Herbie was a special little man, a cheeky chappie and the Best Looking Guinea Pig in Derbyshire, that I got from Maggie Sellars. Entered in the Derby Evening Telegraph Pet Awards, Herbie got his own spread (and his owner!) in the paper, singled out of hundreds of photos to be featured. He was a complete different character to Google, very outgoing and always at the front of the cage to greet you, but only in the hopeful anticipation that you would have a green bean for him. He lived with Rupert for the last two years of his life and sadly passed away on New Years Day 2010.
